CASA DEI GATTI

FINALLY FINISHED … the first season (2020) was a real challenge, but the house was finished and only minor improvements were made during the season, so our first guests all had a wonderful time here.

The owner and interior designer Adriano Bacchella of CASA MELAGRANA see Code n. 15021 (inaugurated in 2019 by our clients with great success) has built and furnished another house in his unmistakable Mediterranean style: here you can feel the sea, the air, the sun – everything was built and furnished using only natural materials from our island.

The whole cat house (“casa dei gatti”) is made of granite. The living room has been largely hewn out of the rock on which the small fishing village of Seccheto rests. It is truly unique in its kind! In the upper part there is a sleeping gallery (with a comfortable sofa bed for 1 person), which can only be reached through a side entrance (on the upper level). The living room (with a double sofa bed) leads to the kitchen and a corridor from which you can access both the bathroom and the bedroom – with a beautiful view of the surrounding green valleys. The modern bathroom has a shower box. The WC is outside in the corridor. In a corner of the pergola, there is another shower (also with hot water) and another washbasin.

The highlight of the house are certainly the terraces: one with pergola directly connected to the living room, kitchen and bedroom; the other one on the roof; both overlooking the sea and the small village of Seccheto.

An oasis of peace with many relaxing corners … the wide armchairs under the magnificent pergola, the sofas under the stars on the roof terrace, the corner under the house, between Mediterranean essences in the small vegetable garden. Everything invites you to relax … The big sister, CASA MELAGRANA , has already been featured in various interior design magazines! CASA DEI GATTI is following in 2021.

There is a private parking space in front of the house. The house is equipped with air conditioning, WiFi, dishwasher and washing machine.
